Saint Germain-des-Prés in Paris is best known for its charming alleys and beautiful cafes that are simply photogenic. On a corner street is Maison Sauvage, famous for it's flowery facade.
ATMOSPHERE
Locals love sitting outside at the "Terrasse" and enjoy the warm summer breeze. It's perfect to spend an afternoon in this garden like setting.
Apart from the terrace, the interior is bright and warm, giving it an inviting and cozy vibe.
Lovely woven baskets decorate walls and ceiling, each adorned with bright colorful flowers.
WHAT TO EAT
I sat outside and ordered a hot tea, a latte and milk with honey, which I do recommend.
Sitting on a Parisian terrasse, with a cup of latte, surrounded by flowers and resting under the summer sun . Oh I could so get used to this.
The brunch here also offers freshly baked bread and homemade desserts.
The St. Germain area is a great place to have breakfast or a light meal. When the weather is good, be sure to sit outside and enjoy the romantic ambience of Paris.
