Today we introduce you to the French Steak Restaurant Notre Dame Cathedral and Sorbonne University Street on Montagne Sainte-Geneviève. Located on the famous "Gourmet Street" in Paris It's also near the Michelin star Tibetan restaurant- Lhass.
Louis Vins opens only during the lunch break and in the evening. Infamously known for its delicious T-bone steak. The T-bone and porterhouse are steaks of beef cut from the short loin.
The interior of the store is where harmony between classic and modern decor can be noticed. The place houses several exquisite paintings and furniture which are classic pieces with a modern touch. We also noticed a glass fridge that added to the uniqueness of the place with champagne and sauces and meat stored inside.
We were curious about the name of the restaurant "Louis Vins". "VIN" means wine in French. And it is to acknowledge the aisle in the basement of the restaurant which is wine cellars.
Martini and Aperol. Aperol is an aperitif-cocktail originally famous in Italy, but recently has gained popularity among Parisians! Perfect for the summer.
"Today's lunch" is 15 €. Including appetizer, main, and dessert.
COCO DE PAIMPOL ET SAUMON
Coco is white kidney beans, steak .Paimpol is the name of the port town of Brittany. Salmon and white kidney bean dish.
In one word -Refreshing!
T - BONE STEAK
You must try the popular steak. T-bone steaks are cut closer to the front and contain a smaller section of tenderloin
Its served with Sauce that enhances the balance between sweetness and flavour of juicy meat. The steak was cooked just right and would melt in your mouth.
CARRE DE PORC
We couldn't get enough of the juicy pork ribs served with seasoned wine sauce and chips. This is also exquisite with a different flavour from beef!
Potato fries just adds to the meal.
Oven-baked potatoes with butter sauce accompany the steak.
RIT AU LAIT
We ended the meal with a sweet dessert. Rice cooked with milk ends the meal on the delicious note.
