Atelier Choux is the new up-and coming boutique store for all essential baby products and clothes for children under 3 years old. The boutique is conveniently located behind the Saint-Michel fountain in Paris. Atelier Choux was founded in 2016 by a French-American couple who have an interest in interior design. They collaborated with Mattias Adolfsson, a Swedish artist, to create unique and high quality baby products. Their simplistic and original designs inspired by Paris' beautiful architecture and monuments makes any item from here a "must have" for any child you know. Atelier Choux creates all of their products in France with 100% GOTS certified organic cotton, and the designs are printed with water based, baby safe inks to keep all babies healthy.
Once you enter the shop, you can immediately see the French inspiration. The clean white walls with intricate pastel colored designs that include animals and frames exemplify the Atelier Choux identity. The elegant chandelier was bought in Murano, Italy which adds to the luxurious boutique shopping experience.
Prior to January 2019, all of the items were only available online, but now you can have a personal experience and find all of their collections in their first shop.
The signature prints of Atelier choux contain elegance and style at the same time. The hot air balloon design was inspired by the first balloon descent into Parc Monceau (8e arrondissment) by Andre-Jacques Garnerin. All of the clothes are delicately made with high quality materials like velvet, gold jacquard, and of course organic fabrics.
There are many different designs for bodysuits, and they all have conveniently located buttons for an easy diaper change. Bodysuits and playsuits are unisex and there is also a dress collection for baby girls.
All of the clothes add a sophisticated touch to a baby’s daily outfit, and are made with cotton to offer incomparable comfort and softness. New prints and collections will be released each year.
A swaddle is an essential item that is used daily when taking care of a child. Atelier Choux created a perfect multi-purpose lightweight swaddle entirely made in France with organic cotton, and designed with their signature prints.
The fabric is highly absorbent, and the prints don’t lighten or disappear no matter how often you wash them. There are two sizes, the smaller one is 70cm by 70cm, and larger one is 100cm by 100cm. Designs are also unique from ones with Paris monuments to swimming pools, carousels, versailles palace, a baby doll house, and so many more fun ones.
Atelier Choux makes bibs that are double sided, each with a beautiful food, nature or architecture themed print. They are made in are two sizes, a small one for newborns, and a bigger one for infants. Same as for clothes, bibs are printed with solvent free, baby safe inks, and also designed and made 100% in France. There are two golden studs, which are the signature addition of Atelier Choux, so that you can easily adjust the fit.
Along with childs clothing, Atelier Choux also has home decor products to enhance the baby room and bring elegance into every aspect of the babies life. Above is a fitted sheet that is available, along with a duvet cover, a quilt and pillows. They are all made with prints that don't lighten or dissapear over time and the prints are made with water based, baby safe inks. Along with the fun fairy-tale illustrations, they will create the warmest and most comfortable shelter for any baby or toddler.
