If you're looking for new and refreshing music to enliven your hot summer, head to Galeries Lafayette's outdoor pop-up stage. The French Touch Concert Vol.2 will showcase performances from unique next-generation artists such as Lous and the Yakuza, Lolo Zouaï, Bianca Costa, and Nathalie Duchene.

The house of Christian Louboutin pays tribute to France in a big way. Wandering its footprint all around the Galeries Lafayette, from the Mogador showcase to pop-ups on the ground floor and the 4th floor, the brand invites you to tread on a red carpet that would make La Croisette pale. The highlight of the show? A flamboyant installation nestled under the dome that honors the one who put the world at her feet: the incomparable red sole of course, more incandescent than ever.

French Cooking Class

What could be more special than learning to cook in the gourmet country? On the 3rd floor of Galeries Lafayette Maison, cooking classes with local chefs will take place. Heritage Tours

Let’s have a time travel at Galeries Lafayette. With special guided tours held on weekends, explore the deep history and interesting architectural elements of the Galeries Lafayette department store, which has been a centerpiece of Paris for a long time.  

The stunning glass dome architecture is beautiful enough to be called a large piece of art in itself. Lafayette has collaborated with globally renowned artist Kim Sooja to display an installation art piece in this dome. The moving work, 'Breath', forms a rainbow spectrum influenced by the surrounding environment. People can have a unique experience of participating in the artwork as both viewers and elements of the surrounding environment. As you observe the artwork, you are led to contemplate the concept of non-action that the artist aims to express, along with the transience of light. Don't miss this work as you can also encounter it during the Heritage Tour. The exhibition runs until October 29th.
