La Vallée Village is one of the biggest and best shopping outlets in the Paris region where you can browse over 110 fashion and lifestyle brands offering as much as a 50% discount. The center boasts a vast selection of shops and boutiques, ranging from world-leading designers to more affordable fashion. In this how-to guide, we share our top tips to save you time and money while enjoying a perfect shopping trip a short journey from the center of Paris.
Being situated on the outskirts of Paris, it’s only natural that you might worry about transportation. There are several ways to get to La Vallée Village, in this guide we introduce our 2 preferred modes of transport
First, the easiest and most comfortable option. As Paris infamously struggles with public transportation strikes, regular construction works, and other incidents, the ‘Shopping Express’ ensures that you won’t fall victim to the quirks of the public transport network. This shuttle bus has a logo of La Vallée Village on its body or in front. It connects 2 locations of Paris (East or West) directly to La Vallée Village. You can access the official Shopping Express booking page from here.
East Shuttle - Hotel Pullman Paris Bercy
The East Shuttle departs and arrives at Hotel Pullman Paris Bercy (1 rue de Libourne, 75012 Paris). You can easily find The Shopping Express right beside the bus stop Terroirs de France on bus lines 24 & 111.
Or, you can come by metro, it takes only 2-3 minutes of walking. Just go straight through the Bercy Village from exit 1 (sortie 1) of the metro station ‘Cour Saint-Emilion’ and you will see the shuttle bus in front of you. The big bus has a logo of Paris City Vision in front.
West Shuttle - Sofitel Paris Baltimore
The West Shuttle's departure & arrival point is Sofitel Paris Baltimore (88 bis Avenue Kleber, 75116 Paris). You will easily recognize the bus thanks to its chic black and pink body with the La Vallée Village logo.
The point of departure and arrival is in front of Sofitel located a 1-minute walk from the metro 'Boissière' station (line 6) or the bus stop 'Kléber-Boissière' (line 22 or 30). Once you go out from the metro station or arrive at the bus stop, you will find the point right in front of you.
After more than 30 minutes relax, you will arrive at the La Vallee Village! The shuttle bus will drop you off right next to the Welcome Center (Concierge Services). If you get the bus to return to Paris, this will be your departure place.
At Concierge Service, you can exchange your O’Bon Paris VIP PASS for a La Vallée Village voucher of your choice. As La Vallée Village is quite spacious, it is a smart choice to get the voucher right after your arrival.
If you have any problem finding the bus stop for the return, you can follow the signposts in La Vallee Village.
It is highly recommended that you check in with the local staff or bus driver 15 minutes before departure. The time indicated on your ticket is the departure time of the bus, not the boarding time, so be careful not to miss it!
The second way to go to La Vallee Village, cheaper and more flexible is public transportation. This is recommended for anyone who wishes to come and go when they want.
Take the RER A in the direction of Marne La Vallée (Disneyland Paris) and alight at the second last stop on the line (Val d’Europe).
Leave via exit 1 (Sortie 1 Serris/ La Vallée Village/ Centre commercial).
Upon leaving the station, turn right and walk straight until you reach the entrance to the Val d’Europe shopping center.
A quick walk straight through the shopping center will take you to the entrance of La Vallée Village. In total, it takes around 20 minutes by walking from the Val d’Europe train station to the La Vallée Village welcome center.
Below, we have prepared secret tips for first-time visitors of La Vallée Village, including our O’bon Paris VIP PASS, additional offers, the best times to visit, and what and where to eat. The O’bon Paris team has put together this guide to ensure you make the most of any trip to La Vallée Village.
Being an outlet shopping center, all of the products on offer are reduced by up to 50%. With our VIP PASS, you can receive an additional 10% discount at many of the shops and boutiques in the village. Present your VIP PASS (a QR code) to the cashier at the time of payment to redeem the discount. And you can show this QR code at the Welcome Center for an F&B voucher, a gourmet break at Starbucks/Amorino, or Ladurée like you prefer.
Often, the shops at La Vallée Village have additional sales, special campaigns, and exclusive offers. We recommend checking the latest offers on their website before you go to avoid missing out. As well as this, and especially if you plan to pick up more than a few good deals, we recommend that you register online as a privileged member to receive a hands-free shopping service that is free to all privileged members once a year. You will receive a hands-free shopping passport at the welcome center by showing your privilege code. This will enable you to spend the day shopping without any of the heavy liftings. You will simply collect all of your purchases together at the end of your visit before you leave.
La Vallée Village, being one of the largest shopping outlets in the Paris region, is often very crowded. With a diverse mix of brands from the world’s leading designers, and is open 7 days a week, the village attracts a large number of multi-national customers looking for a bargain. For this reason, we recommend that you visit the center in the morning to enjoy a more relaxed shopping experience and avoid crowds.
Throughout the week, international shoppers will queue early in the morning to enter the most popular boutiques. If you are accompanied by family and friends, we recommend that you send one member of the group to hold your place in line to save valuable shopping time.
If, after a morning of shopping, you’re starting to get hungry then it’s time to make use of the snack vouchers! You can exchange these vouchers with specified food and drink vendors. The deals on offer vary by season. There is a range of eateries in the village where you can refuel after a day of shopping. These include Pret a Manger, Ladurée, Starbucks, and many more. Pret a manger and Ladurée are ideally situated near the Shopping Express shuttle stop if you are looking to have a quick break before returning to the center of Paris.
If you are craving something more substantial, then you will find what you are looking for at Menu Palais, an authentic French restaurant in the heart of the shopping center. There are also several more affordable restaurants located in the Val d’Europe shopping center right next to La Vallée Village.
