Macaron is a very familiar dessert around the world. But if you are travelling to Paris, you should not forget to experience authentic French macrons in the 155-year-old  Ladurée. In Champs-Elysées streets are crowded with tourists all year round, Ladurée is an extraordinary space that captivates every tourist visiting Paris.

Ladurée is a French luxury bakery and sweets maker house created in 1862. It is one of the world's best-known premier sellers of the double-decker macaron, fifteen thousand of which are sold every day.

The Pâtisserie E. Ladurée Company (société Pâtisserie E. Ladurée) is a société par actions simplifiée (simplified joint stock corporation) and has its head office in Marcq-en-Barœul, in France.

In 2012, Ladurée also released a collection of makeup inspired by the colours of their macarons. It will be available in Japan in February 2012, and in Europe from November 2012.

Cookies and chocolates are always great gift options . Ladurée pastel tone boxes in La Dale always make for a luxurious and delicious gift.

You won't be able to take your eyes off the colourful desserts and the sweet bakery scents which add to the essence of this place.

There is also a souvenir set called Miss Peregrine. If you are having trouble choosing which Macaroon to buy, it is recommended to purchase a set that is prepared with a generous amount and variety of flavours.

The Indian black tea Othello, with a spicy flavour of cinnamon, was a good match for chilly Parisian weather. Also, the luxurious teapot and ambience somehow manage to make the taste better.

The cafe aromatises giraffe, ordered with a pistachio flavour, was not a typical frappuccino, but it was a coffee with an undertone of dark coffee and pistachio.

Ispahan, a bright rose colour, is one of the representative desserts of Ladurée. The combination of fresh raspberry and silky rose makes it a very  sweet and unforgettable dessert.

Vanilla Macaron and Pistachio Macaron
