European travel during the winter is slightly more special than other seasons because of the magical Christmas markets. Walking through these outdoor markets will make your Christmas dreams come true and transport you directly to a winter wonderland. We went to  two Christmas markets at dusk, on the Champs Elysées from Ferris wheel at Plaza de Concorde.

The Christmas market in Paris, Champs Elysées is crowded with a large number of tourists visiting Paris and Parisians who came out to play in the city of the night, ahead of Christmas.

On both sides of the streets you would see stalls  lined up that sell souvenirs  like Christmas specials, candies and goodies.

You will see massive crowds near the shops selling french wine, cheese, sausages etc. Give them a try !

The market is full of children walking around happily with churos, hot dogs, crepes and waffles.

We bet you won't be able to resist a sweet treat either.

Warm drinks become essentials for the cold winter market! Be it hot choclate or mulled wine, whatever you prefer to keep your fingers warm.

There is a shop selling exclusive {snail}Escargot dishes, only in France.

Stir-fried mushrooms are also delicious.

You won't be dissapointed even if you travel with kids, there are several activities for kids and adults of all ages.

Ice skating rink is also available!

Among the numerous Christmas markets in Paris, the most exciting Christmas market in Champs Elysees is open until January 8, 2017. If you travel in Paris during the Christmas holiday season, it is one of the places you definitely should  visit.
