MARIAGE FRÈRES THÉ FRANÇAIS situated in the famous area, Le Marais, offering a wide range of tea with more than 800 references from 36 countries. Mariage Frères is providing extensive choices of tea and the necessary accessories for tea according to the “French Art of Tea”.

 

ATMOSPHERE

With the decoration of mostly wooden furniture, it gives the atmosphere of vintage and antique style. Once you step into the shop, the nice scent of tea suddenly fills your nose. 

MARIAGE FRÈRES THÉ FRANÇAIS is separated into 3 main parts which are Comptoir de Thé, Salon de Thé, and Musée du Thé.

 

Comptoir de Thé

Comptoir de Thé or the tea counter offering the extensive selection of tea from 36 countries. Made it unique by displaying the tea in the background of the counter with every type of tea represented such as white teas, yellow teas, green teas, black teas, and so on.

 

The proof of having the tea from more than 35 countries around the world. Each of them has the language of each country of origin written, all of them mean the same thing, "tea".

 

Besides tea, they also offer the necessary accessories for preparation, conservation, and tasting of the tea in different styles and designs. 

 

Salon de Thé

If you walk straight from the entrance, you will see Salon de Thé or the tea room right away with the menu stand waiting for you to order. Different from the rest of the shop, the tea room is decorated with antique furniture and white tiles together with some green plants which give a vibrant and peaceful environment to the tea loving-visitor.

 

Musée du Thé

Located at the left-hand side of the tea room there is the stairway up to the second floor to the Tea Museum.

 

The Tea Museum is worth visiting that it will bring you back to the old day to the adventure of the tea in the history.

 

Discover tea from ancient times with their name and country of origin written. If the glass showcase was not there, imagine how strong and appetizing the scent of tea would be.

 

A mix of tea accessories from the past such as teapots, tea boxes, and porcelain sit peacefully in the showcase to show how beautiful and delicate they are.
