Today we paid visit to the infamous bakery which was crowned on the French TV channel M6's popular program - France's best bakery (La meilleure boulangerie de France). And was also awarded the best bakery award in October 2016.
The bakery is located in the 11th district of Paris, opened for more than two years, by two freinds who knew each other for more than 15 years.
Ambience
On the day of our visit, we notice the popularity of this bakery, as you would notice a long line of people patiently waiting outside the shop. For the Parisians, it is not easy to line up, which means the shop was capable of winning their hearts.
The decor is simple, but there are many different kinds of cakes and bread, probably a variant for everyone.
So many kinds of sandwiches, that it's hard to choose one. From the most classic ham sandwich to chicken sandwiches, and also Panini, they are all ideal for lunch.
The two chefs often travel to different countries and incorporate different styles into the bread they make.
Christmas dessert, Busshu de Noel packs a punch.
Sebastian, one of the dessert masters here, has previously worked for seven years at Ladurée in London.
They use simple ingredients, stick to the authentic taste of bread and offer them at affordable prices.
Chicken and fresh vegetable sandwich complemented with egg making it a delicious and fulfilling meal.
