Be careful, the access is not from the Invalides maingate, but from the southern Gate (Dôme Gate), 2 Place Vauban. You may use the Paris Métro, and the closest stations are Ecole Militaire and Saint François Xavier. There is also the station La Tour-Maubourg on Line 8, & 10 min walk from the Dôme des Invalides. Additionally, the RER C line, which connects to major points across Paris, stops at Invalides station, providing another convenient route to the venue, but keep in mind that you will need to walk around 15 minutes to the Dôme entrance.
