A world famous chef full of experiences and skills, Michalak. You can find Pâtisserie Michalak in le Marais, Saint-Germain-des-Prés, and the food corner in Printemps department store. Known as the representing patisserie of Paris, Michalak also has a School and laboratory where you can learn and experience french baking through one-day class programs.
The interior is modern and simple. It gives you the impression that you are in a gallery filled with Michalak's delicious artwork.
They are now serving gourmet ice cream. Ten flavors are prepared including chocolate, caramel, yuzu, fromage blanc, mango, and strawberry.
Michalak left Alain Ducasse at the Athénée Plaza Hotel, with the desire to focus on his own pâtisserie and products. You can see his passion through the showcase in his store. The beautiful packaging of the cakes are one of the many delicate details he implements in his shops.
On the other side of the wall, there are chocolates, recipe books, and jams. These can be memorable souvenirs or gifts.
MINI KLASSIK - CHOCOLAT PECAN (THE CAKE IN THE MIDDLE)
Michalak has various chocolate desserts. Of course, one of the best sellers is this mini classic-Chocolate Pecan. This unique dessert is a twist between a cake and a tarte. Pecans, dark chocolates, and Pralines cream balance the taste, making it not too sweet or too nutty.
MERVEILLEUX - FRAISE VIOLETTE (THE CAKE IN THE MIDDLE)
When cut in half, this colorful cake reveals fluffy meringue and strawberry compote. The fresh ingredients reminded me of a spring rose. The special thing about this cake is that it's made without any flour. The meringue and cream give a soft texture and strawberries add a fresh taste.
PARIS - BREST PRALINE NOISETTE (THE CAKE IN THE MIDDLE)
One of the most famous french cakes; Paris Brest. The choux is filled with praline cream. The combination of cream and noisette create a sweet and nutty taste.
Summer time in Paris means long days of sun, perfect for enjoying romantic picnics. Take a sweet dessert from Michalak and enjoy it near the Seine or in one of Paris' many parks.
